Salary Comparison UK is an independently operated website based in the United Kingdom. In this notice, "we" and "us" refer to the operator of Salary Comparison UK.

The calculator asks for role information such as salary, bonus, pension contributions, working hours, commute details, student loan plans, and work preferences. The current calculator performs its calculations in your browser.

Your scenario and result are placed in browser session storage so that the results page can display the comparison and let you edit it. We do not receive or store those calculator entries through normal use of the calculator. Session storage is normally cleared when the browser tab or window session ends, and you can also remove it by clearing your browser data.

We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand aggregated website usage. This may include the page viewed, referring page, approximate location, device type, browser, operating system, and event time. Vercel states that its Web Analytics service does not use cookies and does not associate these analytics with an identifiable individual or IP address.

We use this information for our legitimate interest in understanding and improving the website. We do not send the salary or role figures entered into the calculator to Vercel Web Analytics.

If advertising is enabled, we may use Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, or other identifiers to serve and measure advertisements.
